Pre-Arrival prices do not include tariffs or shipping from our Napa warehouse. Shipping will be arranged with you when your wine arrives at our warehouse, typically in 4-5 months, and we’ll invoice you for shipping fees and any applicable tariffs at that time.

We’re happy to arrange appointment-based pickups from our Napa warehouse (no charge), Tue-Fri 9.30am-4pm, except for holidays. Pickups are not available from our San Mateo office due to licensing restrictions. If you prefer delivery, our shipping fees are passed through at cost, with no markup.

Once your Pre-Arrival wines arrive, we will contact you by phone or email before shipping. This gives you the opportunity to confirm or update your preferred delivery address and method. We do not automatically ship wines without first coordinating with you.

We take great care to ensure your wine arrives in perfect condition. During periods of extreme heat or cold, we offer weather holds until conditions improve. For destinations with sustained high temperatures, we offer thermal insulation and cold packs (additional fees may apply).

Your wine will be shipped to you in molded cardboard to avoid breakage and to comply with UPS/FedEx guidelines. If the wine comes in OWC, we can ship the case to you separately for an additional fee. Most of our clients choose to do so, although we can also dispose of the OWC for you if you prefer.

Our checkout page provides real-time shipping quotes based on your bottle count and ZIP code. We charge only our actual cost, so we don’t offer additional discounts. We recommend shipping in increments of 12 for the lowest per-bottle rate.
